Our belief

Most of what reaches your buyers is noise. Because most of it has nothing to say.

Your buyers, senior partners, managing directors and finance chiefs at the firms you want to reach, get the same AI generated pleasantries you do. They delete them faster.

We only send when there’s something worth saying. A regulatory change in their sector, a public filing, a leadership move. The sort of moment your best people would spot and act on, if they had the time to watch every firm in your market.

We write a message that acknowledges the moment, connects it to a problem firms like theirs tend to face, and offers a genuine next step. A human reads it, approves it, and it goes out. That’s it.

How it works

Listen. Write. Approve. Send.

Built for firms where reputation is part of the service. Nothing leaves the building without a human reading it first.

01 · LISTEN

We watch the UK market for the moments that bring new clients through your door.

Dozens of public data sources, scanned daily, filtered down to the handful of events that mean a firm is about to need your expertise.

  • › Public filings & director changes (Companies House)
  • › Regulatory updates (SRA, ICAEW, FCA, HMRC, FRC)
  • › Industry news & regulator consultations
  • › Leadership moves & senior hiring activity
  • › Office openings, relocations, mergers
  • › Firm website changes (careers, pricing, service pages)
02 · WRITE

We pair the moment with a problem firms like theirs are probably facing.

A library of sector-specific problem maps turns each event into a short series of messages, written in plain English, in a voice that sounds like a sensible person, not a template.

  • › A real, specific observation, never a generic opener
  • › A clear next step, low commitment
  • › Replies drafted and back to you within hours
03 · APPROVE & SEND

Human-approved. Always.

Nothing leaves on autopilot. Our team reads every message, rewrites what needs rewriting, kills what does not ring true, and approves the rest. Your reputation, your voice, every time.

  • › 100% human approval before anything goes out
  • › Sensitive topics routed to a separate review lane
  • › Weekly transparency report to your inbox
  • › Qualified meetings in your diary
Anatomy of a Tackt email

Observation. Problem. Offer. Nothing more.

Every email follows the same three beats. It’s how a thoughtful senior partner would write if they had time to watch every firm in your market at once.

01 · ObservationA real, dated, public event we can reference plainly.
02 · ProblemOne line connecting the event to a pressure firms like theirs routinely face.
03 · OfferA low-commitment next step. A short call. A question. Never a deck.

About

Who is actually behind this.

Years of building companies, and years of watching the business-development stack around us sprawl into a mess of disconnected tools that never functioned as one piece. AI has now reached the point where that orchestration layer can be offered as a proper service, not a DIY stack for the technically-minded few. We think this is where the industry is going. We would rather be early than late.

Alex

Co-founder · Clients & Service

Operator first. Years of running businesses that depended on getting client acquisition right, and of wrestling with the same fragmented toolkit every firm is left to DIY. Now runs the client side of Tackt: discovery, onboarding, and the weekly rhythm with every client.

Chris

Co-founder · Operations & Engineering

Runs engineering and operations. Chris built the orchestration layer that joins the tools together, and ships improvements to it every week, shaped by what is working, and what is not, across active client campaigns.

UK

GDPR & PECR compliant by design. We contact only role-based or legitimate-interest B2B addresses at incorporated entities. We honour unsubscribes immediately, maintain a permanent suppression list, and sign a DPA with every client before day one.

What you are probably thinking

The obvious questions, answered plainly.

Every firm we speak to asks these. Here are the answers before you ask them.

Our industry does not work like that. Cold email is not how we win clients.

True, for most of the history of professional services. Referrals, reputation and relationships built over years are how partners fill their books. Nothing replaces that.

What has changed is that your best prospects are now harder to reach through those channels alone. A relevant, well-timed note from a peer-sounding sender is not cold email in the 2010s sense. Done badly, it damages your reputation. Done well, it is an efficient way to start the relationship that eventually becomes the referral.

Is this just AI spam with extra steps?

We understand the concern. Most AI-generated cold email is indistinguishable from spam because it is sent indiscriminately, without context, and without review.

We lean hard the other way. Every message is rooted in a specific observation about the recipient’s firm, paired with a problem they are likely to be working through, and read by a human before it leaves. Volume is tuned to quality, not the other way around. Not every send will be pinned to a dramatic public event, but every send will have a reason.

Deliverability. How do you not end up in spam?

Sends triggered by need and human approval keeps reply rates high and complaint rates near zero. Mailbox providers treat senders who get replies like humans. We get replies.

AI writes terrible emails. Why are yours different?

Two reasons. First, the input: a real event plus a specific, sector-tuned problem map. Not “write a cold email to a law firm.” Second, the output gate: a human rewrites or rejects anything that reads like AI wrote it.

We also run continuous optimisation on reply rates, subject lines and tone, by sector. Something only the most serious business development teams do, and most cannot because they do not have the data to do it well.

We have been burned by a business development agency before.

Almost everyone we speak to has. The usual failure modes: poor targeting so half the list was wrong; volume-first thinking; no transparency; no one to call when a reply came in from the general counsel of a FTSE client asking what on earth this was.

30-day notice. Weekly reports. You can see every email before it goes out if you want to. Human approval by a dedicated operator, not a shared inbox of interns.

How do I know you are any good?

We have been working in this space, updating with the technology as it has evolved, for the last five years, and have brought in revenue in the millions for our own businesses using these methods. Tackt is what happens when you turn those playbooks into a proper service.

Rather than ask you to take our word for it, we offer a free market scan. Ten firms in your market, the ones we would contact this week, a sample introduction for each. Judge us on the work.

FAQ

A few more things we get asked.

How long until we see meetings?

Tackt is new and we are deliberately onboarding a small number of clients at a time, to keep quality high. Once the engine has built up a couple of weeks of signal coverage in your niche and the first sequences have run their course, most firms see their first qualified meetings in weeks three to four. By month two, you should be seeing six to twelve qualified meetings a month in a healthy niche.

Do you use our domain to send?

No. We send from dedicated domains that we provision and manage. It gives us room to scale safely while protecting your brand.

Do you work outside professional services?

Our data sets and problem maps are tuned to UK professional services, and the quality shows. Our intention is to be best in class in this space for the foreseeable future, rather than spread ourselves thin across markets we do not understand as well.

What does a “qualified meeting” mean, exactly?

A booked call with a decision-maker at a target firm, of at least fifteen minutes, that actually happens. Cancellations, no-shows, administrative staff acting on someone else’s behalf and competitor researchers do not count. We would rather under-count than argue over an invoice.

Notice period and lock-in?

Thirty days’ notice either way, from month one. No annual contracts. No setup fee. If it is not working in month two, you should leave, and we would rather you did.

Next step
